Midwest travels

One week ago today, David finished up his job at TASC working as a drug & alcohol counselor. We praise God that David enjoyed his job and it met our needs the past 2 1/2 years. Now we are completely freed up to travel and put ALL of our EFFORT into raising the last 40% of our financial and prayer support by partnering with people.

So...we are off!! We barely fit everything into our amazing gas efficient Toyota Corolla. We have already cruised through Nebraska. We enjoyed sharing at the First Baptist Church in Gothenburg and Arbor Drive Community Church in York. We were able to share with a few pastors as well. So far we are incredibly encouraged and feel the Lord confirming our calling over and over.
Over the next 2 months we plan on sharing with Churches (supporting and potential supporting churches), meeting with pastors and missions directors, having gatherings with friends & family to share our vision, and time with our family & friends. In short we want to see YOU! Please let us know if we are in your area so we can connect. Meanwhile…

PLEASE PRAY FOR:
*the sale of our townhouse
*safety as we drive throughout the entire Midwest.
*more meetings with pastors & gatherings with friends.
*flexibility for all of us as we travel.
*us to grow together as a family.
*us to grow in our relationship with Christ.

We will head to WI via IA & MN

August... is still To be determined.

The Roberts’ Toyota Corolla (not named as of now but by the end of this trip could very well have a name or 2) will leave KS around the end of July and be in route to WI via IA & MN.

We do know that we will be at Grace Foursquare Family camp Aug. 7-9 & we will be sharing at Grace Foursquare Church Aug. 23rd.

If you would like to connect with us in August, please let us know.

The only thing we need to be back to CO for is Kevin’s (Beth’s brother) wedding on Sept. 12.

Celebrating 6 Years of Marriage

Praise God for 6 years of marriage! God has been faithful through it all and we know he will continue to be faithful no matter where we are. We were blessed to have had a complimentary weekend at Pam Fisher’s Bed and Breakfast in Aspen, CO. Wow were we spoiled. Wonderful food but even more amazing fellowship.

THANKS PAM & JOHN FOR OPENING YOUR HOME AND REFRESHING OUR SPIRITS.

We hiked the Maroon Bells trail and had a picnic at the foot of the mountain. Dinner and a beautiful rainbow ended our perfect day.

The Lord refreshed us and encouraged us. We had an amazing time of vision casting and prayer.

Please continue to pray over our marriage. The enemy will often attack the family starting with the marriage. We desire to be united and strong in Lord.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Eph. 6:12
