The Robert’s family is becoming a student of change. Change is inevitable for us. But that is OK, because we have confidence that God is in the middle of our change.
One change we are currently making are some home improvements, so we can put our townhome on the market. Our fridge is in the dining room and our stove is on the deck as we are tiling. Our house is in total chaos, and NOT Zane proof. But it is getting done. Praise God! Please pray with us that it sells quickly.
Another major change in our world is that David put in his ‘2 month notice’ and will be quitting his job at the end of June. We feel blessed that David has had a job that he really loved and provided for our family. We will now be able to transition into raising support fulltime and travel for as long as we need to. Our plan is to visit supporting and potential churches of & individuals in NE, KS, & MO for the month July.
Our last big change has been Zane transitioning from a baby into a toddler. Yep, Zane just celebrated his first birthday. (Lots of pictures on Beth’s Facebook page) He is taking 6-8 steps by himself & slides down the stairs on his tummy. We are loving this transition and all of these new toddler ‘challenges’. Yep, sometimes change is ‘messy’, but you just have to dig in with all your heart!
Our prayer is that you would embrace change that God has for you & that you would open your heart to what lies ahead.
Licensed Pastor
2 for 1....Are you getting married and need a licensed pastor and ring bearer? If so, you have come to the right place! We have an adorable 1 year old who might be able to follow directions and walk a very expensive ring up the isle. But more importantly we have a NEW LICENSED PASTOR who can perform the ceremony for you. Funny or serious… David can deliver a memory that will last a lifetime.
Ok, enough of the commercial….
David did get his pastoral license from under the cover of our home church, Faith Mountain via the Baptist General Conference. He will now be able to do all of the many ‘duties’ of a pastor. He will be able to perform weddings, funerals, and more. We know God will use this on the field to glorify Him.
