Rejoicing in Baptisms

Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Acts 2:38a

We praise God that 4 of the youth at our church, Iglesia Jesucristo Para Todos, were baptised this month.

This young man is the younger brother of a lady that has been coming to our church for sometime now. He just recently started to come and has integrated really well into the youth group. Pray that he continues to grow in his love for God and stand up to the pressures of adolescences. 

This sweet girl has been attending our church for the past 2.5 years. She is our 'power point girl'and a blessing in our church. She will be graduating high school in 5 months. Pray that God gives her wisdom and insight on what she should do after graduation. Pray that she passionately pursues God and all that He has for her.

The pastor had the privilege to baptize his daughter. We praise God that this young lady is growing in her walk with the Lord and wanted to make this public acknowledgement to her commitment to God. Pray that she keeps her eyes focused on God during her teen years and all that entails these days.

God touched this young ladies heart a year and a half ago at our church's retreat. Since then she has been drawing closer to God and seeking out all that He has for her. We praise God for her desire and dedication to learn and proclaim God's truth. Pray that she continues to passionately pursue God and others. 

We praise God that young people all across the world are making decisions for Christ. THEY ARE THE NEXT GENERATION THAT WILL BE MAKING DISCIPLES.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.  Matthew 28:19

One a lighter note: After the service Zane and his friend were racing paper boats across the baptismal pool by leaning over and blowing them. Yep, Zane fell in. Head to toe soaking wet. In 35 degree rainy weather. Yep... funny now. Not so funny then;)
