Our Family News
Zane is now 7 months old and very healthy. He is enjoying sitting up by himself and making grunting noises. We are still trying to figure out this rash of his and the dry skin. Hopefully it will be under control soon. Once again Zane was a great traveler to our training. He slept well, eat well, napped well, and loved on many people.
David is leading a small group that just finished God Questions and is now starting Fireproofing Your Marriage. We are excited to see what God will do in our marriage and the marriages of couples in our group. David’s family came to town for Thanksgiving, and we all had a great time. Zane got to meet his Uncle Daren for the first time and got a lot of attention from his grandparents.
Beth turned the BIG 30 this month. She was able to celebrate with her missionary appointee friends at the training with cake and even a pedicure. She continued to celebrate with some family and friends when she got home. To be honest, she has-n’t had a lot of time to reflect on the turning of an-other decade. An Incredibly Busy November
NOV. 1 We were blessed to have the Beckett’s small group from The Rock Church host a silent auction in honor of us. They auctioned off such creative gifts and had awesome food. They raised $2000 for our year of language school. PTL! THANK YOU Beckett, Byer, Copp, Darrow, Davis, Ferry, Gomoll, Hart, & Pressley families! And thank you to everyone who came to support us!
NOV. 6-9 Missionary appointees converged in Chicago for MAT (Missionary Appointees Training). We learned about maintaining a relationship with Christ on the field, working with national leadership & financial information. It was a blessed time of fellowship, learning and encouragement. We enjoyed getting to know personnel in the head office and many career missionaries. We were also able to share with Crosswinds Church in El-gin, IL. It was a blessing to hear their story and share our ministry with them. THANK YOU Crosswinds
Church. www.cwclife.org
NOV. 16 Beth was able to share with Faith Mountain’s Children department. She played games with them that helped them learn about the culture in Argentina, and shared a missionary story with them.
NOV. 23 We were able to share at The Edge, an-other church plant from the Rock. We loved how they ‘did church.’ Check them out… www.the EDGEcolorado.org
NOV. 30 Faith Mountain, our home church, announced us to the congregation as their new missionaries. We were able to share our new DVD and our timeline of Missionary Partnership Development. They prayed over us and truly blessed us. We love you FM! Check out what God is doing there. www.faith-mountain.orgPraise God! We are 18% funded. Will you help us get to 100%?
